Conduct a within-subjects experiment
Mirror tracing, maze running, and memory studies (especially studies using mnemonics) all lend themselves to within-subjects experiments. They also all lend themselves to a discussion of the need for counterbalancing because order effects (particularly those due to practice) are salient. You could replicate or model a study after either
